Robelyn's mom Evelyn, Robelyn, Rosemarie, and the youngest Rish Beth
(we didn't get to meet her brothers Ruben and Ronnel)
inside Robelyn's home with her grandmother and father
Robelyn brought out her stack of letters from my mom-"That's my other daughter Danielle."
the whole neighborhood wanted to see us
this was their first time at the Cagsawa ruins (our second)
Rish Beth balancing on the rocks
slightly clearer this time, but we could still only see the base of Mt. Mayon
JUMP!
A powerful typhoon in 2006 left many homeless and Children International opened a housing project for them in 2007. We took a short tour before lunch. It was a little strange to me and my mom that we would bring a family here who's being sponsored by the same organization yet living in much poorer conditions.
touring the housing project
colorful homes
Rish Beth looking out her living room window
showing off the goodies from shopping
princess
two neighbor girls came to say hello
Saying goodbye was sad. Maybe one day we'll meet again.
I seriously got tears in my eyes. I'm so happy your guys got to FINALLY meet her and her family. I'm sure they'll never forget this day.
